WORKING AT HEIGHTS COURSES
Our working at height Courses can be tailored to each and every individual candidate or company specific needs.
Candidates will be trained in how to safely work at height and perform tasks within their own discipline while working at height as well as how to perform a emergency rescue.
RIGGING & LIFTING COURSES
Our rigging and lifting courses are all OPITO approved.
Our practical rigging area is like no other.Working in heights up to 30ft it is also 40ft wide and 55ft long. It has a wide variety of scenarios and practical and theoretical skill levels that challenge even the best of riggers and AP’s/focal points.We also run Lifting Operational Planning Courses aimed at new and experienced AP’s/Focal points with a 3 and 5 day training course.
OUR BANKSMAN COURSES
Our banksman and slinger courses are all Opito approved certain areas can be tailored to your needs so that you get the best out of our training.We can also do heavy lift courses using a 500ton crane. This is not a calendar course and runs on demand.
DRILLER RIGGER COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT
The IADC North Sea Chapter requested that OPITO develop a robust and auditable minimum competence assessment standard in order to enable Drilling Riggers to be formally assessed against lifting activities performed on drilling.
Cross Haul Aid and Design Innovation Planning Software
The software is designed to aid the competent person to plan lifting operations using portable lifting equipment and rigging arrangements on loads, reduce the risks and improve the safety of the lifting operation.
Produces detailed scaled operational drawings along with many more features.
